Defending the EPA – How Nurses Can Take Action and Make a Difference

August 10, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

Join the ANHE Policy-Advocacy Work Group as we learn about efforts to roll-back health protective regulations – such as the Clean Water Act, the Methane Rule, and the Ozone Rule as well as EPA budget cuts and how these effect the Agency’s ability to protect public health.

Opportunities for action such as meetings with policymakers and writing letters to the editor will be discussed and writing samples and factsheets provided. The voices of nurses is even more important right now to support the essential efforts of the EPA. Hope you can join us!
