On August 10th, the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, along with other Safer Chemicals Healthy Families coalition partners, will be participating in a national day of action in support of the Safe Chemicals Act of 2011. At several of these events, all the kids will have super hero capes to wear and will be presenting their Senator with their very own super hero cape - asking them to be a hero by supporting the Safe Chemicals Act of 2011! If you plan on attending, please let me know so I can send you an ANHE button to wear: email Katie Huffling with your name and address. Also, I would love photos of these events with nurses! You can also post photos on our facebook page.
