ANHE Nursing Summit on Environmental Health

Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2nd annual ANHE Nursing Summit on Environmental Health,“Calling all Nurses: Leading the Way to Healthy Environments”. The Nursing Summit will be an exciting exploration of nursing actions and advocacy on the road to creating healthier environments. Besides inspiring presentations this two day event will provide an opportunity for networking with other nurses and leaders from across the nation. Stay tuned for more details!
Highlights of the Summit include:
- Dr. Bev Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN, CEO of the National League for Nursing (invited) will share wisdom on nursing leadership
- Anabell Castro-Thompson, MSN, RN, ANP-C, FAAN, immediate past-president of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses will discuss diversity and inclusion in environmental health nursing
- The popular NED talks (Nursing, Environment, and Dialogue) will kick off the summit with inspiring, fast-paced presentations by environmental health nurse leaders
- Nurse Advocates will report from the field about their successes and tactics. A major focus of the summit will be developing a Climate Action Plan for nurses in a variety of practice settings
The Nursing Summit is a CleanMed pre-conference event that will be held on May 6th-7th, 2019 at the Omni Nashville Hotel, in Nashville, TN. Nursing continuing education hours are available to summit attendees.
