Her research focuses on community exposure assessment with specific interest in endocrine disrupting chemicals and health outcomes among women and children. She is the Director of the Region 4 Southeast Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit. Her outreach work engages communities in research to identify and reduce environmental exposures and in raising awareness of environmental injustices. She also practices as a Nurse Midwife at Grady Health System providing pregnancy and family planning services to at-risk adolescents and childbearing women. \nWe are not holding a meeting for December and will resume our meeting on Jan 21st at 3 pm (4th Thursday)
