🚨 The EPA is trying to roll back over 30 critic

🚨 The EPA is trying to roll back over 30 critical climate and air pollution protections—putting millions of lives at risk. As health professionals, we’re sounding the alarm: weakening these safeguards would be the biggest pollution increase in decades and a direct threat to public health.

These protections prevent 200,000 deaths and over 100 million asthma attacks through 2050. Losing them would devastate communities already burdened by environmental injustice and climate change.

We will be joined by speaker Regina Hsu who is a senior attorney in Earthjustice’s California Regional Office, where she works on the Right to Zero campaign. Regina primarily works to accelerate transportation electrification in California and nationwide. Much of her work centers on electrifying the goods movement industry and reducing pollution at the San Pedro Bay Ports, the largest port complex in the United States and single largest stationary source of pollution in the Los Angeles region.

SEPTA is advancing its Zero Emission Bus Program, aiming to deploy hydrogen and electric buses to reduce emissions. However, challenges like funding uncertainties and infrastructure hurdles persist. Erin Johnson, ANHE member and public health advocate, emphasizes the health risks of diesel exhaust, which contains over 40 known carcinogens and contributes to about 70% of cancer risk from air toxins.
