Nurses see the health impacts of environmental har Nurses see the health impacts of environmental harm every day, in our clinics, hospitals, and communities. From worsening air quality to toxic chemical exposure, these threats are not abstract. They are showing up in our patients.

That’s why we’re coming together for ANHE Virtual Hill Days on May 13–14. Join us to meet with legislators and advocate for clean air, safe water, climate action, and protections that put health first.

This is a critical moment to speak out against rollbacks that put communities at risk and to push for policies that protect both people and the planet.

In 2021, New Yorkers voted to add an amendment det In 2021, New Yorkers voted to add an amendment detailing the right to a clean and healthy environment in the state’s Bill of Rights. Since its passage, key government leaders have been trying to undermine and rollback the Green Amendment, including New York Attorney General Letitia James. Attorney General James has gone to court with legal arguments that seek to undermine and narrow it leading to very troubling court outcomes.

While this is happening in New York, it could very easily happen in other states that pass Green Amendments. Politicians, who are in the pockets of oil and gas or just don’t have their constituents best interest at heart, will do anything to undermine the safety and autonomy of communities. Don’t get it twisted, though: Everyone deserves a clean and healthy environment.

$4/gallon. $20 more per fill-up. Hundreds more per $4/gallon. $20 more per fill-up. Hundreds more per month. Trump promised to cut energy costs in HALF. Instead, he started a war with Iran that choked off 20% of the world's oil supply, and gas prices shot up nearly $1/ gallon in just 4 weeks. The highest gas prices in four years. And his response? "If they rise, they rise."

The math is simple: #CleanerCars + #CleanerTrucks The math is simple: #CleanerCars + #CleanerTrucks = lower costs. This budget from @POTUS ignores skyrocketing gas prices and Americans’ economic struggles, doubling down on oil dependence and higher prices. Congress must expand, not cut clean transportation
