Motherhood already comes with so much to carry. To Motherhood already comes with so much to carry. Toxic chemicals in our food, water, air, and everyday products shouldn’t be another item added to the list.

Our new issue brief looks at how toxic exposures can affect every stage of life — from fertility and pregnancy through early childhood, when developing bodies and brains are especially vulnerable.

The reality is that families cannot filter their way out of systemic pollution. Moms already do enough. They should not also have to become toxicologists to keep their children safe.
The brief explains how everyday exposures happen, why children are especially vulnerable, what recent decisions weakening safeguards mean for families, and the practical steps people can take to reduce risk — even though the real solution is stopping pollution at its source.
