A new report by the Environmental Protection Netwo A new report by the Environmental Protection Network examines environmental and public health rollbacks under the Trump administration—featuring insights from EPN policy analyst Sarah Bucic, MSN, RN.

Hormone disruption. Fertility problems. Cancer. Parkinson’s. Developmental harm in children. These aren’t random trends. They are linked to increasing exposure to toxic chemicals — while the guardrails meant to protect us are being weakened.

We have a choice: accept more risk, or demand better.

Featuring speakers from the Migrant Clinicians Network, the webinar will share environmental and occupational hazards faced by farmworkers, including pesticide exposure, heat-related illness, and workplace injuries. The session will also highlight practical strategies for providing culturally responsive care and improving continuity of care for farmworker communities, taking into account language, migration patterns, and access barriers. Participants will learn actionable steps participants can take to raise awareness and promote safer, healthier conditions for farmworkers and their families.

The group issued an urgent warning following the release of draft legislation to amend the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the bipartisan law Congress overhauled in 2016. The U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW) has announced a hearing on the discussion draft scheduled for March 4, 2026.
