You’ve heard throughout this series how nurses are influencing climate policy at the highest levels—but global impact doesn’t only happen at summits like COP. It happens in exam rooms, communities, hospitals, and homes. The truth is: if you’re a nurse, you’re already engaging in climate action—even if you don’t call it that yet. Every time you educate a family about asthma triggers, reduce waste in your clinic, or advocate for safe housing—you’re advancing health and planetary well-being. This campaign is about making that connection visible, intentional, and amplified. Because when nurses name what they’re doing, when we share our stories, we spark change. Our everyday actions—when tied to the bigger picture—become global advocacy.

In October, the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders are launching a digital campaign to showcase the powerful, diverse ways nurses are already leading on climate and health—whether from the bedside, the classroom, or the boardroom.

Share your story using the link below to inspire collective action. Deadline for submissions is November 10. For full instructions on how to record your video, please see the guide below.

If you are unable to access Google Forms, you can submit your video directly to us by sending via email here.

🎥 Instructions to Film Your 30-Second Video:

💬 What to Say in Your Video (Choose One or More):

Pick a focus that feels real to you. Speak from the heart. Keep it short—30 seconds max.

Here are some ideas to get you thinking about what you’d like to include in a quick video.

  • What motivates you personally to act on climate change?
  • Think about your daily nursing work—how does it impact health beyond the patient in front of you? What are you already doing that contributes to climate solutions, even if it’s not labeled that way?
  • What does leadership in climate action look like in your role, your setting, or your community?
  • If you had 30 seconds to explain how your nursing work supports climate action, what would you say?

🎬 Suggested Video Script (30 seconds):

👋 “Hi, I’m [your first name], a nurse from [your location or specialty]. One way I’m taking action for a healthier planet is by [insert action].

Nurses are climate leaders. Join me on the #NursesPath2COP!”
