On Wednesday, December 11th at 2PM MST, Arizona health professionals and climate advocates will discuss how extreme weather has affected the lives of Arizonians in 2024. In 2023 Phoenix set a record with 54 days above 100 degrees, by August of 2024 that record nearly doubled with 100 straight days above 100 degrees. Panelists will detail the human and environmental impacts of these extreme weather conditions and how these communities are addressing the impacts.
