Speaker: Luz Huntington-Moskos
Luz Huntington-Moskos PhD, RN, CPN, Associate Professor of Nursing and Director of the Community Engagement Core for the Center for Integrative Environmental Health Science (CIEHS) at the University of Louisville, Louisville , Kentucky.
Dr. Huntington-Moskos has a program of research focused on the intersection between adolescent health, environmental health and health disparities. She is working to develop report-back strategies geared towards adolescents, with the goal of building environmental health literacy and promoting positive health behavior change. In addition, Dr Huntington-Moskos is part of a research team working to assess residential exposure to cleaning/disinfecting products among adults with asthma and the impact on asthma symptoms. This presentation will discuss the challenges and lessons learned during integration of an air quality monitor, spirometer, and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) to assess residential air quality and asthma symptoms among adults with asthma.
