You’ve heard throughout this series how nurses are influencing climate policy at the highest levels—but global impact doesn’t only happen at summits like COP. It happens in exam rooms, communities, hospitals, and homes. The truth is: if you’re a nurse, you’re already engaging in climate action—even if you don’t call it that yet. Every time you educate a family about asthma triggers, reduce waste in your clinic, or advocate for safe housing—you’re advancing health and planetary well-being. This campaign is about making that connection visible, intentional, and amplified. Because when nurses name what they’re doing, when we share our stories, we spark change. Our everyday actions—when tied to the bigger picture—become global advocacy.
In October, the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders are launching a digital campaign to showcase the powerful, diverse ways nurses are already leading on climate and health—whether from the bedside, the classroom, or the boardroom.
