While the United States has one of the safest drinking water supplies in the world, there are still many communities that lack access to safe and clean drinking water. Check out our latest webinar, presented in partnership with the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE), highlighting some of the biggest challenges that impact water supply and health in communities in Michigan. Featuring Rev. Dr. Sarah Bailey from Bridges to the Future, Kimathi Boothe from the NAACP, and Katie Huffling from ANHE, webinar speakers shared experiences with the Flint Water Crisis, water pollution in Detroit communities, and federal rollbacks of clean water protections. Nurses and health professionals can learn more about the tools and resources to understand these complex issues and how they can to take action to support healthier water. Watch the recording here.
