ANHE Regional Forum: South East

We have 600 ANHE members in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee! Let’s join together to protect our patients, families, and communities from environmental harm and create healthy communities for current and future generations. We host events, share information about what’s going on, and create opportunities for nurses to talk to their legislators and each other about all things environmental health.

Call Out: ANHE is seeking a South East Regional Forum Organizer!

Are you a nurse in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina or Tennessee who is passionate about environmental health? Regional Forums are co-created with our members – for our members. Regional Forum Organizers:

  • Connect with and uplift community-based organizations,
  • Share regional-focused advocacy efforts, and
  • much, much more!

Regional Organizers will receive a $1000 honorarium for their important work in strengthening our ANHE community. Time commitment is estimated to be 5-10 hours per month.

PFAS Health Study

We are inviting primary care clinicians to participate in a study to assess how the ATSDR clinical information factsheet is used in real-world applications of PFAS clinical prevention and management for children.

We are seeking participants who meet the following criteria:

  • primary care clinicians (including physicians (e.g., pediatricians), advanced practice nurses, and physician associates),
  • and has encountered children with suspected or confirmed exposure to PFAS.

Participation involves completing a brief online survey, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Your insights will contribute to our understanding of the evolving needs of clinicians working with PFAS, potential equity gaps, and policy challenges.

Your participation is completely voluntary. There is no compensation for participation. If you are interested in participating, please find the survey link here:
