Thank you!

We are incredibly grateful for your support of the nurse-led environmental health movement. Thanks to your generosity and the collective efforts of our amazing community, our New Year Campaign raised over $16,000!

These funds will help nurses across the country lead the fight for clean air, safe water, and sustainable communities. Together, we are empowering nurses to advocate for policies, educate communities, and reduce harmful environmental exposures.

Thank you for believing in our mission and standing with us as we work toward a healthier future for all.

We are excited to announce the launch of a new Resources page on our website! This page is dedicated to providing access to important environmental health information that has been removed from government websites.

As nurses, we know the critical role that environmental data plays in understanding public health threats. With federal actions impacting the availability of these resources, we’ve partnered with trusted organizations to archive and share this essential information with you.

The new Resources page includes data and tools such as:

-EPA safeguards and screening tools

-Climate change reports and mapping tools

-Public health datasets crucial for community health assessments

We invite you to explore the page and use these resources in your work and advocacy efforts.

2025 is the perfect time to save money, strengthen your practice’s commitment to a greener future, and share vital resilience knowledge with your patients. Using environmental sustainability to save money and improve community health just makes sense. My Green Doctor’s latest newsletter explains how easy it is for your practice to go green:  Accelerating Your Sustainable Practice in 2025 with MGD.

My Green Doctor is a free money-saving membership benefit provided through the Alliance of Nurses for a Healthy Environment. Practice managers, doctors, and nurses use the “Meeting-by-Meeting Guide” to learn how to adopt environmental sustainability, save resources, address the health threats of climate change, and help create healthier communities. This requires adding just five minutes to each regular clinic or practice staff meeting, making small changes at each meeting that really add up. We welcome everyone in your practice to register as Partner Society members at https://www.MyGreenDoctor.org or at www.MyGreenDoctor.es (sí, en español). Use the discount code MGDANHE when you register to get free access to My Green Doctor and save money!

Join the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE) and fellow nurses on Wednesday April 2nd and Thursday April 3rd for virtual legislative meetings with your congressional representatives to discuss the need to preserve critical environmental health safeguards that protect health, preserve climate and health investments in communities across the country, and emphasize the critical need for Congressional action to fully fund federal agencies such as EPA and HHS.

ANHE will hold a Hill Day Prep call in advance which will be recorded for all those who register.

Please sign up for meeting slots that best fit your schedule and reach out to sarah@envirn.org with any questions.
