Reimagine Appalachia – Please join us digitally on Tuesday, January 12th from 1-5 pm for our Post-Election Strategy Summit! You can register here! To kick off our summit, we will have a panel of experts to help us understand the national political landscape as ReImagine Appalachia makes plans to take its work to Washington (virtually of course).
Our speakers include:
- Michael Ettlinger, Director at Carsey School of Public Policy, University of New Hampshire and former Vice President for Economic Policy at the Center for American Progress
- Collin O’Mara, CEO of National Wildlife Federation
- Roxanne Brown, International Vice President for United Steelworkers
- Margarida Jorge, Executive Director, Health Care for America Now
After hearing about the national political landscape, we will have engaging conversations about how to create change through a grassroots and local lens through our breakout sessions. You’ll choose your break out session during the event, however, in order to help our facilitators plan their breakout, we’d love your help.
