Green Bag Lunch – Green Tea Webinar Series: Food as Medicine 1


Thank you for joining us for our webinar Food as Medicine. Nurses are eligible to receive 1 hour of nursing continuing education credit after watching the full webinar and completing the post-test and evaluation (you must achieve an 80% or higher on the post-test to receive the credit).  It may take 2-3 business days for you to receive your post-test score and CE certificate as scores need to be manually reviewed and released.  If you have any questions or issues regarding your CE certificate, please email hannah@envirn.org

After viewing the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Define food insecurity and its association with health outcomes and healthcare costs
  • Review recent research examining the impact of food on health outcomes and healthcare costs
  • Understand the body of work happening at the intersection of food and health systems including the “food as medicine” movement, its successes and its challenges

    Thank you for your work. Respecting our natural environment is a central practice of all sustainable cultures, and it is sorely lacking in many parts of the North American culture, including in healthcare.
