OCTOBER WEBINAR: The Power of Nurses: Driving Climate Solutions at COP30 and Beyond

Wednesday, October 22 | 12PM ET

Join ANHE & SONSIEL, in partnership with the Ontario Nurses for the Environment Interest Group (ONEIG) for the final session of Nurses Leading the Way: The Path to COP30 series titled “The Power of Nurses: Driving Climate Solutions at COP30 and Beyond”.  As COP30 approaches, this closing virtual event, held on October 22nd at 12 pm ET, will focus on how nurses can drive change—whether they are attending COP30 in person or participating from afar, participating from afar, or weaving climate action into their everyday practice.

Speakers will explore how nurses can influence the outcomes of COP30 virtually, instill hope and direction as leaders within civil society, and advocate for bold, collaborative, and accountable action from governments. We’ll also hear directly from nurses preparing to attend COP30 and learn how they’re bringing the voice of health to the global climate stage. To close, we’ll share specific, action-oriented ways for nurses everywhere to get involved through the #NursesPath2COP social media challenge.

Be part of this energizing conversation and discover how your leadership can shape a healthier, more resilient future

Join the movement & share your 30-second video!

You’ve heard throughout this series how nurses are influencing climate policy at the highest levels—but global impact doesn’t only happen at summits like COP. It happens in exam rooms, communities, hospitals, and homes. The truth is: if you’re a nurse, you’re already engaging in climate action—even if you don’t call it that yet. Every time you educate a family about asthma triggers, reduce waste in your clinic, or advocate for safe housing—you’re advancing health and planetary well-being. This campaign is about making that connection visibleintentional, and amplified. Because when nurses name what they’re doing, when we share our stories, we spark change. Our everyday actions—when tied to the bigger picture—become global advocacy.
