Both within and outside the ANHE community, there has been a great deal of interest in the Environmental Health Nurse Fellowship. ANHE is pleased to announce that a group of Fellowship participants and staff recently published an article about the inaugural cohort of the Fellowship in the journal Environmental Justice. The full text of the article is temporarily available as open-source from the journal, and we encourage everyone interested in the Fellowship to access it as soon as possible during this availability period.
The article gives a comprehensive overview of the program and its components, as well as its impacts and implications for both the profession of nursing and the fields of Environmental Justice and Environmental Health. We are so excited to share the story of the Fellowship with the world! Thanks to all the 2019-2020 cohort Fellowship participants, community partners, community-based organization partners, and the Kresge foundation for helping to make this program an impactful success. We look forward to future Fellowship endeavors!
